NC State Design Camp
Blueprint Army camp is a multi-discipline pre-college design plan organized past the NC Country Blueprint Lab for high school and centre school students. Held each summer, Design Army camp informs students about the study of blueprint and raises sensation of the impact of design on all aspects of our everyday lives. The design thinking skills and creative experience gained can empower students on their path toward becoming innovative problem solvers and gear up them to tackle the challenges of the future.

Solar day Camps
Centre Schoolhouse Day Camps
Rising 6th, 7th and 8th Grade
JUNE 27 – JULY one OR August 8 – 12, 2022
Focuses on introducing students to blueprint thinking through a series of hands-on design projects, exploring a range of pattern disciplines offered at the Higher of Design. Studio activities are designed to strengthen students' creative problem solving and visual literacy.
Platonic for: This camp is perfect for middle school students interested in learning more about design, and improving artistic problem solving and visual literacy.
Cost: $700 (includes meals, instruction, supplies, activities, and insurance)
Student-Staff Ratio: 5:one
Seats Available: lx seats per program (equally of three.21.22, spots are even so bachelor)
Registrations after April eight will incur a $25 late fee.
High School Twenty-four hour period Camp
Rising 9th, tenth, 11th and 12th Grade
AUGUST 8 – 12, 2022
A week-long program that introduces participants to the design process through cursory projects covering the range of studio disciplines offered at the College of Blueprint: compages, mural architecture, industrial design, art + pattern, and graphic pattern. In addition to completing projects in v studio rotations throughout the calendar week, campers volition participate in Design Studies critical thinking exercises and activities outside of the studio, as well as view presentations to help inform students on their path to college-level study in design.
Ideal for: This camp is perfect for loftier school students interested in exploring all of the disciplines offered at the College of Design.
Cost: $825 (includes meals, educational activity, supplies, activities, and insurance)
Student-Staff Ratio: five:1

Residential Camps
High Schoolhouse Residential Camp
Rising tenth, 11th and twelfth Grade
JULY 10 – 16, 2022
An immersive, residential program covering the range of studio disciplines offered at the College of Blueprint: architecture, mural architecture, industrial pattern, art + design, and graphic design. Residential camp projects require more time in the studio, making the daily schedule much like that of an actual College of Design student. Campers also participate in Design Studies discipline related evening activities aimed at strengthening their disquisitional and creative thinking, deepening their agreement of the design field, and preparing them for higher level study in design and beyond.
Ideal for: This camp is perfect for rise 10th, 11th, and 12th form students interested in exploring all of the disciplines offered at the College of Design, and experiencing what residential life is similar for College of Design students.
Toll: $1200 (includes housing, meals, instruction, supplies, activities, and insurance)
Student-Staff Ratio: 4:i
Seats Available: 100 seats UPDATE: Camp is full and now accepting students to waitlist. As of three.21.22, at that place are 28 students on the waitlist.

Design Immersions Residential Camp
Ascent 11th and 12th Form
JUNE 21, JULY 24 – 30, 2022
An immersive, pre-college programme that introduces students to the fundamentals of design and the process of creating portfolio quality projects in a studio environment. Participants will attend an online orientation on June 21, which will set the tone for the Pattern Immersions camp and innovate students to five online modules they will consummate prior to joining us for the residential military camp on July 24–30. Online modules volition include self-guided, ane-two hour lessons with accompanying activities that encompass topics primal to design, preparing students to consummate one studio project to portfolio quality during the residential army camp week. During the residential week, campers also participate in evening activities aimed at strengthening their disquisitional and creative thinking, deepening their understanding of the design field, and preparing them for college level study in design and across.
Ideal for: This camp is perfect for rising 11th and 12th form students interested in completing a portfolio quality project, and experiencing what residential life is like for College of Pattern students.
Cost: $1300 (includes online modules, housing, meals, education, supplies, activities, and insurance)
Student-Staff Ratio: 4:i
Seats Available: 100 seats (equally of 3.21.22, spots are still bachelor)
Registrations after Apr viii volition incur a $25 late fee.
